My trip to barcelona

*) Day 1:

This year a part of the "rhéto’s" went to Barcelona.
We left Belgium on Friday the 18th april at 6 pm to go to Lloret de Mar.
The journey was quite great.

*) Day 2:


We arrived to Lloret de Mar at 12 pm.
We stayed near the swimming pool at the hotel because our bedrooms were not ready. Later than we went to eat, unfortunately, the food was not the Spanish food. Next we had some time to spare into Lloret de Mar.
In the evening we took a drink in a nice cocktail bar.









*) Day 3:

In the morning, we toured the Miro museum; we saw some beautiful paintings there.
After that we went to the Olympic stadium.
We had lunch at the “pueblo espagnol”. The "Pueblo espagnol" is a beautiful architectural museum. There you can see 117 buildings, square, streets from many corners of Spain.











*) Day 4:

We had a busy day.
While the morning we went to see and to visit the sagrada famillia.
The sagrada famillia is a cathedral which was built by Gaudi in 1882.
But this cathedral is not finished yet.
When we had finished this visit, we went in a park, the name of this park is the park Güell, it is built by Gaudi in 1900 and finished in 1914.
In the afternoon, we visited the quarter gothic, we walked into the streets and the guide showed us some historic buildings,…
In the end of the afternoon, we sightsaw a house which used to own to Gaudi.





*) Day 5:


In the morning, we went to Lloret de Mar to do the shopping.
At 12 am we went into a restaurant to have dinner. We ate a delicious paella. After that, we went to the Dali museum.
Afterwards we rode from Figeras to Belgium.

*) Day 6:

We arrived in Belgium at 9 am.




I've loved very much Barcelona, it is a really beautiful city, the weather was good and we had great fun with all my friends.

My Profil

Hello everybody,

My name is Céline Hardy. I am 17 years old. I was born in Chimay in the C.S.F and I was brought up in Bourlers, a small village near Chimay about 5km away. I have some hobbies: I used to do jogging shortly before starting to dance and swim. I dance every Wednesday with Mrs Isabelle Sainte and I swim every Thursday. I like listening to music, particularly rock. I also like reading some books. My proudest moment was when I was 10 years old, and I won a gold medal in a swimming competition. I went to primary school in Bourlers. Now I am a student at the Saint Joseph College in Chimay. I took up the French/sciences option. Next year, I will go to Namur to the university to study chemistry. After finishing the university, I would like to become chemistry teacher or to do research. My motto is..."when we want, we can”.
